The ONDAVU routine, in the right order

Good hair-care routines are easier to keep when every product has a clear place. ONDAVU’s four products serve different moments; you do not need all four to begin. Choose the step that fits your day, then read that product’s complete directions before use.

Before shampoo: Root Reset

Root Reset is a short exfoliating scalp-serum step. Apply a small amount to a dry scalp before shampoo, leave it for 3–5 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and then shampoo. Use as directed, generally 1–2 times weekly. Its listed ingredients include lactic acid, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and nettle leaf extract. Explore Root Reset and its full ingredient list.

Before washing: Root Oil

Root Oil is a separate pre-wash oiling ritual. Apply sparingly to the scalp and hair as directed, leave it for at least 15 minutes, then shampoo and rinse. Start with the amount your hair feels comfortable with rather than saturating it. See Root Oil’s directions and ingredients.

A separate dry-use moment: Root Pulse

Root Pulse is a handheld massage tool, not a liquid formula to layer into the two pre-wash steps. On clean, dry skin, start at Level 1 and guide it gently over the scalp. The supplied manual also describes selected facial use at Level 1 after removing makeup, and use at the side/back of the neck and shoulders. Keep pressure light, move after roughly 3–5 seconds per spot, and use for up to about 3–5 minutes per area as comfortable. Avoid the front of the throat, spine, bones, joints and injured or irritated skin. Explore Root Pulse and read its support guide.

After washing: Root Mist

Root Mist is the leave-in finish. Spray evenly onto clean, damp hair, work through or comb gently, and style as usual. Do not rinse it out. Focus on the lengths rather than treating it as another pre-shampoo scalp step. See Root Mist’s directions and complete ingredient list.

Make the routine yours

You can start with one product. If you choose more than one, keep their timing distinct: Reset and Oil belong before washing, Pulse belongs to its own dry-use moment, and Mist comes after washing. Always follow the instructions supplied with the exact product you own. A consistent, understandable sequence is more useful than a long routine you do not enjoy.
